The San Antonio Bead & Ornament Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and sharing of the history and creative enjoyment of beads, jewelry, and other forms of personal adornment.
SABOS was founded in 1991 by a group of artists who wanted to network with other artisans in San Antonio and throughout Texas. Peggy Mahan, a current member, is one of our founding members.
SABOS meets on the second Wednesday of every month. See Calendar for upcoming meeting dates, location and times.
SABOS offers a wide variety of classes throughout the year. See Calendar for a list of current classes. You may also view past months classes.
Membership is open to the general public. Individual, family and business memberships are available. See Membership for more information.
Each Spring, SABOS sponsors a bead bazaar. See Bead Bazaar for more information.
